What is Veda Yoga Teacher Training?
The Veda Yoga Teacher Training Course is an exciting comprehensive yoga asana and meditation teacher training course comprised of online instructional material and assignments, allowing you the flexibility to study in the comfort of your own home and at times to suit your lifestyle, There are weekly assignments and the student can expect weekly feedback on these assignments if necessary. A total of 10 face-to-face intensive workshops are held on a monthly basis, which will include assessment of student progress.
Veda Yoga Poses are taught with an emphasis on health, safety and breathing. This course will give you an understanding of how to be careful in your own practice and how to impart this to others.
The practice and understanding of yoga meditation is also a strong component of this course with participants learning how to meditate and incorporate it into a class situation.
What will I do on the course?
The course includes asana, pranayama, relaxation, meditation and yoga philosophy. There is a significant practical teaching component as well. As a Veda Yoga trained teacher you will develop skills for your own yoga practice and the knowledge and confidence to pass these on to your students in a way which is relevant to the demands of life today.
What you will get from the course
Successful completion of the course gives you a Level One Qualification, recognised by Yoga Australia, the national yoga regulatory body. The course focuses on more than fifty basic poses and techniques. As I am sure you are aware, there many hundreds and perhaps thousands of poses. The knowledge you will gain of the basic poses can be applied to those other poses which are not included in the course. The fundamental skills and techniques you will learn will enable you, not only to confidently teach those poses covered during the course, but more advanced poses as well.
